Midwest Conservation Biomass Alliance annual meeting – save the date

Columbia, MO

Organized by MCBA & the University of Missouri Center for Agroforestry Systems

Columbia, MO

Please mark your calendar for Jan. 27th, 2016 for the MCBA’s annual meeting, being held at the University of Missouri – Columbia. The meeting will occur the day before the 7th annual Agroforestry Symposium sponsored by MU’s Center for Agroforestry -- consider attending the symposium in addition to the MCBA annual meeting.  The Agroforestry Symposium theme is “pollinators” and the line-up of speakers includes experts from The Nature Conservancy, the Xerces Society and more.  Many will find the Agroforestry Symposium to be well aligned with MCBA mission and vision.

The MCBA annual meeting agenda is being developed but will include an inspirational keynote speaker, updates on pending federal grants and other activities, a discussion of the meaning and use of the term “conservation biomass”, and prioritization of activities for the upcoming year.

Please keep alert for updates on the MCBA annual meeting and the Agroforestry Symposium.
