This study takes the first in-depth look at ethanol demand and the possible reaction from the Illinois agriculture industry. It is also the intent of this study to provide sufficient information for decision makers to determine the viability of new ethanol plants in Illinois and the methodology necessary to investigate specific sites. Of equal importance, this study can be a resource for government agencies looking to assist farm groups in building ethanol plants.
